Why workout at home?

Ok, so you all know we’re Beachbody coaches and think working out at home is the best thing since sliced bread.  We’d like to explain why we think this to encourage you to give it a shot!









1. No commute!

2. No waiting around to check in or for machines.

3. Workouts available on YOUR schedule:  beginner to advanced, cardio, dance, martial arts, strength training, tai chi, yoga – and more – all at the push of a button, not the gym or trainer’s schedule!
4. No chatting with the gym rats.  Don’t get me wrong, that can be fun but it’s a time sucker and what kind of results do you get from it?


This is big.  Everybody is busy these days. You might have a crazy job (or two, or three).  Kids (human or fur babies).  A social life.  We know how it is.  I used to work 12+ hours a day in a crazy job.  I just rolled out of bed at 4:30 am, stumbled into our garage, pushed play and got the workout over with first thing.   With workouts as short as 10 minutes, YOU can find the time too!







1. No gym membership fees.
2. No personal trainer fees.
3. No childcare costs.
4. No gas money.


Buy a program once and do it until you’re bored with it and want to do something else!  There is no shortage of awesome programs to keep you challenged.








1. I love pushing myself harder than my last workout, getting one more rep and pushing myself to the brink of exhaustion.  I can assure you that it’s not pretty.  Sometimes it takes a few spirit yells and some not-so-nice words to get it accomplished. I would NOT be giving that level of effort in public!  It takes a certain mindset (some people might call it crazy!) to do that to yourself without a trainer yelling at you but you WILL get awesome results working out at home if you get your mind right, focus and do your best.


2. World-class trainers.  Tony Horton.  Shaun T.  Chalene Johnson.  Just to name a few.  And Beachbody – a company that put the research, time and money into testing out the program before it was put on the DVD.  Can you say the same about your trainer or the workout you put together for yourself in the gym?  We KNOW if you stick to the schedule for 30 / 60 or 90 days and eat right you WILL get results!


3. Your own personal support network.  That’s right – shameless self promotion here – Coach Jeff and I will be with you every step of the way to answer questions, motivate and hold you accountable.

Workout with your spouse, your partner, your kids!   Make your workout time FUN family time that encourages healthy habits.  This can be an awesome motivator as well.  Working out with people you love is way more fun than strangers at the gym!
